After another successful year for Dating Options, it was time to celebrate the team and the individual brands, acknowledging everybody for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. With a team of over 40 people, it really is the powerhouse within the UK Matchmaking industry, and it was fantastic to be able to share in such a prestigious night.
The night was filled with glitz and glam and the atmosphere was electric. As each person arrived, they were greeted with a glass of champagne to get them in the mood along with a professional photographer taking arrival shots – it really did feel like you were walking into a very special occasion. First it was time for the sixty-five people attending to take their seats and enjoy the complimentary wine and decadent meal – which was delicious, but you could sense that people were now focused on the awards and the anticipation and excitement was really starting to build.
Managing Director Andrew Parker Dennis was the MC for the evening with Chairman Mike Parker joining him in celebrating his fantastic team. There were 14 awards in total reaching across all departments within the company. We were privileged to have two of the most respected people within the Matchmaking industry joining us as guest presenters - Mr Dating himself, Eddy Ankrett, now the lifetime president of the prestigious Dating Agency Association and Heather Heber Percy who is renowned throughout the industry as Matchmaking royalty along with being the chairperson at the DAA. The noise and celebrations for each award presented was deafening with a genuine joy for all winners – it epitomised the teamwork within Dating Options.
