The prestigious Matchmaker of the Year Awards took place on the evening of the 6th January 2022 at the Kings Court Hotel, Warwickshire, with staff and guests attending from all around the UK, for a glittering evening of good food, bubbles, wine, chat and celebration in the Warwick Barn.
As always it was a hard fought contest, that measures matchmaker performance over the entire year, with points awarded for numbers of matches, exchanges and exceptional examples of service, with the top 3 matchmakers being Danielle Dunsby, Julia Ruskin and Hayley Vale. The winner was Hayley Vale, with the Runner Up Award going to Julia Ruskin.
The most improved Matchmaker Award
Presented by Matchmaking Team Manager, Lynda Nicholls. The nominations were two newer members of our Matchmaking Team in Melissa Hurford of Elect Club, Debbie Barber of Attractive Partners and Natalie Holt of Avenues Dating and sister company Matchmakers Dating. We are delighted to announce that in the year she returned from maternity leave, the winner was Natalie Holt.
Exceptional Customer Service and Exceptional Skills as a Matchmaker
The award went to Karen Hyde, Matchmaker of the Year for both 2020 and 2021 – Karen of Dating Agency of the Year, The County Register, continues to prove she is a wonderful Matchmaker and has her clients best interests at heart every day of her life.
